Hi guys, in this blog I am sharing an apple diet plan which will help you lose up to five kilos in five days. It’s not the apple cider vinegar diet plan but a plan which centers around apples.

Apple is a versatile fruit and I have been incorporating this amazing fruit since I started publishing weight loss plans.
It comes in tonnes of variants and is available throughout the seasons and at all the places. It is full of fiber, nutrients and an ideal fruit to help with weight loss.

It’s a low calorie but a nutritional diet plan as it’s very much balanced with complex carbs and proteins. Now that we have a brief idea of what the diet is, let’s start with the actual diet plan.

First Day Of Apple Diet

On the first day, have two apples for breakfast, two apples for lunch, and three apples for dinner. Seven apples will be around 1.5 to two kilos.

Second Day Of Apple Diet

Have one apple and a glass of skimmed or low-fat milk for breakfast. For lunch have one apple along with the salad.
To make salad take one cucumber, two carrots and half beetroot, sprinkle Himalayan pink salt, crushed black pepper and one teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil.
You can also add healthy greens like baby spinach, kale, lettuce, arugula leaves, etc.
Salad will help you get other essential nutrients that are not in the apple and your body will get a small number of healthy fats from the oil and for dinner to have two apples.
Do not forget to drink detox water as it will keep you hydrated.

Third-Day Of Apple Diet

On the third day, I’m going to add some protein for energy and speed up metabolism.
Do not exceed the portion size of these foods as your body won’t have much energy to digest and metabolize them.
So for breakfast have one apple along with one slice of brown or multigrain bread, and scrambled eggs made of two eggs.
Remember, bread should be free from refined or enriched flour, it should be made of whole wheat only. If you are vegetarian have few pieces of paneer or a glass of skimmed or low-fat milk in place of eggs.
For lunch have one apple along with a small bowl of chickpeas salad. It’s made up of boiled chickpeas, onion, tomato, Mint Leaves, Salt and pepper, you can also use black beans.
In the evening, have a small bowl of low-fat yogurt plus five almonds. Do not add any sweetener or use flavored yogurt. Just plain yogurt or you can also take greek yogurt.
For dinner, I have two options. First, is one apple with a salad made up of cucumber, carrots and boiled or grilled chicken pieces.
You can either have half or one boiled or grilled chicken pieces for the salad. The second is to take one apple with a bowl of soup. You can also choose to have clear soup.
The third day your hunger will be quite manageable, continue having detox water to stay hydrated.

Fourth Day

Now comes the fourth day of the apple diet. In the breakfast have an apple with a glass of smoothie. You can check smoothies blog-Here.
These smoothies will keep you full for a long time and help to lose weight. You can choose from the ones mentioned or have your own.
For lunch have one apple with a bowl of vegetable soup like tomato soup, pumpkin soup, cabbage soup, etc.
One hour after lunch, have an orange or mango, or a small bowl of watermelon or pineapple depending on what is available at your place. In the evening we have a cup of green, black or white tea.
Tea is rich in antioxidants which will help flush out toxins. Then end your day like you started with One Apple and a glass of weight loss smoothie.
Forth day you will start feeling active and light and your hunger will be put more manageable, continue having detox water to stay hydrated.

Fifth Day

Now comes the fifth and the last day. This is going to be the most nutritional day. It’s a mix of good carbs, proteins, veggies, good fats, and fruit.
For breakfast have an apple with one boiled egg or a glass of skimmed milk.
For lunch have one apple along with a bowl of vegetable soup or one apple with a small portion of grilled vegetables like green beans, bell peppers, carrots, zucchini, etc.
One hour after lunch have five Almonds.
In the evening, have a cup of green tea and a slice of toasted Whole Wheat or Multigrain Bread with peanut or almond butter.
For dinner, have an apple either with one boiled or grilled chicken breast or an apple with a small bowl of chickpea salad.

Now let’s come to a few pros and cons before you start with this diet.

The pros of the apple diet are as follows.
You will be able to lose up to five kilos and five days. The diet is very simple to follow as mentioned foods are easily available. Also, you can use any variety of apples. Do ensure to have detox water or regular water to maintain hydration.
Your body will get detoxed and the skin will become more clear.
The Cons of the apple diet is as follows.
As a diet is low in calories, you might have headaches or dizziness for the first two days and too many apples may cause gastric hyperacidity.
So stop the diet immediately if the above symptoms are overbearing. I suggest low-intensity exercises like 15 minutes of fast walk or cardio. Don’t do intense weight training etc.
Remember, a person with a high-fat percentage will lose more weight compared to someone that low body fat so the results may vary according to the body types.
Is anytime during the diet you wish to eat something then go ahead and have an apple or five almonds. Do not remain hungry, have up to two liters of detox water a day.
